QR Code Book Library FREEBIE

Have you used QR Codes yet? QR codes are similar to bar codes. They can store information, including a website. I have created a LIBRARY of QR Codes linked to YouTube video books and I'm sharing it with you for FREE!

This is a Google Slides document that has the grids with the book covers and corresponding QR Codes.

So far it contains 34 pages of codes for common holidays and themes used in primary grade classrooms. The document is editable so you can add or remove books or pages.

Students use a handheld device like a phone or tablet to take a photo. But instead of clicking to take the photo, they touch the yellow "YouTube" button and it takes them to the book video. So easy and FUN! Think of all the books kids can be exposed to during free time, centers, after finishing work, even at home!

I keep the pages in a binder and put up the page for the holiday or theme we are studying on a bulletin board where students can bring their devices and scan. These could also be laminated and cut apart for cards on a ring.

Sometimes YouTube videos are taken down for one reason or another. For this reason, the document is editable so I can fix the code if needed. Please feel free to email me if you find any codes that don't work.

You should also come back periodically as I will be adding books and pages as I need them. If you have any ideas or books you want to be added, let me know!
